The plan is to do the trip in a number of 2 or 3 day hops. Some distances are shorter than others which will give us time to sail around the local area and take in some local sight seeing. Others will be further and the sailing will need to be direct in order to reach the next port in time.

11/7/24 Stromness to Kirkwall (over the top)
The above trip will depend on timing, as Talan needs to fly from Kirkwall on 16th July and return on 20th July.
21/7/24 Kirkwall to Peterhead
24/7/24 Peterhead to Amble
27/7/24 Amble to Lowesoft
30/7/24 Lowestoft to Ramsgate
3/8/24 Ramsgate to Portchester
We did not make it. In fact we only got as far as day two befor things went badly for the trip. One member of the crew was thrown across the cabin and ended up breaking his hip in two places. We had to divert to Torquay, land the injured crew member, who was taken to hospital for surgery. He required a lot of metalwork to be inserted into the hip in order to keep it together.
With just one crew member left, it was decided to abandon the full trip but to make it to Falmouth (thereby completing leg one.
